In the future of our sport, more and more referees will be at least bilingual. A fighter is at a disadvantage if s/he doesn't understand a warning from the ref. They could, in essence, have a point taken away with no warning.
Lol @CrimsonChinGuruTBH, we don't know that there aren't already bisexual refs, not that its germaine to the performance of their duties. I don't ever really envision gender equality among the ranks of fighters or referees either, but more women or nonbinary folks in the sport would be nice.
I am very sick and tired of media having to portray every protagonist and antagonist as morally grey. I enjoy morally conflicted character writing, but not every ******* time. Anyone who thinks a character can’t be all morally good or morally evil along with being interesting is simply lacking in imagination.

One thing that being an avid fan of this sport has done for me positively is that I am very used to seeing all kinds of different fighters representing many different countries and styles, and as a result, I recognize a **** ton of flags from various countries, just because I correlate the flags to existing fighters. Chile (Ignacio Bahamondes), Guyana (Carlston Harris), Wales (Mason Jones), Dominican Republic (Dalcha), Slovakia (Ludovit Klein), Morocco (Youssef Zalal), Spain (Joel Alvarez), Peru (Claudio Puelles), so on and so on…it’s weird but it’s a surprisingly fun game to play with friends and watch them **** their pants when I recognize the country of Zaire.

That I did not know. Interesting. I do however recognize the flag though, pretty easy to spot since it’s a torch being lifted by an arm, which I can hardly think of another flag with that design in mind.
Oh, forgot about Bosnia (Damir Hadzovic), that one is also very distinct

Yeah, the Zaire flag was really cool and the torch was certainly unique! Unfortunately, the Democratic Republic of the Congo also changed the flag as well and now go by this one which looks very generic in my opinion. I kinda wish they'd kept the old one as it stood out more but maybe there's some kind of deeper symbolism behind this one, I don't know?

Also, all that blue from the flag on my last post has just absolutely blinded me when I looked over it so I apologise if I've accidentally blinded someone with it lol! Their new flag certainly isn't friendly to digital mediums!

Yeah, this kinda sport just ain’t for Mike. His style is very unique but a lot of his tricks just won’t fly in the cage, it’s too risky and his poor ground game just makes him a pushover.
Izzy needs to stop jynxing his teammates, seriously. Carlos suffered an embarrassing debut loss all while Izzy was like “Oh yeah this dude is scary in sparring” and then gets knocked out by a punching bag
