What do you mean by reserve fighter? Replacement for DWCS or regular ufc?

Also, heard rumors about Tony Laramie possibly being on this year but cannot confirm. Probably also contingent on him winning his upcoming fight June 6th.

Replacement for dwcs. They have a few guys on reserves every year. For example, Kyle todrank was going to be a reserve fighter had he beaten Isaiah diggs last week

I see. That's interesting because they also use DWCS fighters as replacements for ufc cards too. Okay on the next list, I'll have a category for replacement fighters.

I think it’s more a guy they don’t necessarily want in the ufc at the moment, but to replace someone if a dwcs fight falls through. For example, that guy Ramon Tavares fought on his second dwcs appearance

Yeah you're thinking of Cortavious Romious. He is 5'4 and accepts fights anywhere from 135-160 lbs.

Makes sense, since it seems the matchmakers probably just look at records without the context. The only exceptions are if a guy has a big regional following ( Bashi, an LFA Champ, or from somewhere like KSw).

145? Lmao hes really good but he's pretty small. He should be 135, honestly with his size he should be at 125, but I guess he's too stocky

@ThePlumber . Yes I have him on but at BW. His next fight is at FW but he's even a small BW. I'm sure if he wins he will return to his normal weight class.

Now that we are about half way through the names, give or take a few pending upcoming fights, I've heard rumors but cannot confirm yet Tony Laramie, Nicolas Hwende, Stewart Nicoll, Yuri Panferov, Alain van De Merckt, Yousri Belgaroui, Mario Pinto, Mario Sousa.

If anyone can confirm any of these please feel free to add it to the thread.

Quillan Salkilld has put out a cryptic story saying he has a big announcement coming soon it could be the Contender but don’t quote me on it but I’d say he has a high chance of being on this season

*** happened to Felix Klinkhammer, I remember he was scheduled to be on DWCS last year but had to pull out due to a injury. Then he was scheduled to fight Baki but the fight was pulled due to Baki missing weight by like 7 pounds. He hasn't updated his social media in like 6 months. He's a really good prospect, I would think he would be guaranteed a spot on DWCS this year but I guess not.
